The Riverside Arts Council is seeking volunteers to gallery sit at the Riverside Arts Project in the Riverside Plaza. This opportunity would be ideal for artists and/or students seeking to improve their resume, become familiar with a gallery setting and get some homework done at the same time. Exhibits will be displayed in the store front space near Chico’s and El Torito at the Riverside Plaza, conveniently next to a giant orange (from the Giant Orange ARTventure). As a Gallery sitter you would be asked to provide a consistent schedule for the duration of each exhibit, greet and monitor visitors and answer questions about the exhibit and the Riverside Arts Council. No experience is necessary. Orientation and training will be provided by RAC staff.
